a haven near the historic heart
family room ideal location relaxed atmosphere breakfast treat
the hotel offered a good family room. it had ample space, perfect for our stay. the location was ideal, a short stroll from the river, with access to the city center. a lovely lounge area created a relaxed atmosphere where we shared moments, each sip a memory. breakfast was a treat with so many options, each morning reminded me of a feast.
The air conditioning in the room seemed a little temperamental, i did notice. it worked, but required fiddling to find the right setting. It did not spoil the vacation.

the onsite swimming pool was a notable amenity. it offered a refreshing break, especially nice after a day exploring. you had to book a slot, that assured it never felt overcrowded.

queen room quiet location friendly staff
the superior queen room sofa bed was great , it had so much space. i really appreciated how quiet the location was , especially since it was only a ten minute walk to the city center. breakfast included many choices. the staff were really friendly and helpful.
the towels were not especially soft , so i recommend bringing your own if you prefer something more luxurious.

Good Base for Exploring
river ouse quick walk friendly staff fun pool
The river ouse is near. It is easy to walk quickly into town. Staff were friendly with my grandsons. The breakfast offered a lot of choice, despite my grandsons thinking the sausages were spicy. The pool looks fun.
I think the hotel is cashless. They should tell you when you book though.
